Alright, so you've never played an online RPG (or at least this one). This particular RPG is dice based, all battling is done by dice. No, put those plastice dice down. We're using cyber dice, who's rolls are more random, making it more effecient. Also, somebody couldn't cheat as easily using a dicebot. For rules on how to battle, check Combat Rules, for rules about special instances during the game check Special Cases, all other rules are found here.
Joining- To join, you need to first read ALL the rules. After that, check the Hanger Bay to pick your mobile suit. After you've picked your suit and read the rules, you have to make absolutely sure that you want to play, and will be a committed member to the game. After all that, and you still want to join, send me an e-mail. Address this email something like "i want to join". In the e-mail put your e-mail, your characters name, and the mobile suit you would like to pilot, your screen name, or ICQ # if you have it. NOTE: you don't need to have AOL, AIM, or ICQ, but it is HIGHLY recommened, it makes everything much easier. Updates are every Saturday or so, so you may want to register around then. After you send me the e-mail, and you see that your character is up in the hanger bay, go to the message board. Once there you will need to register. To register, go into the Message Board, scroll all the way to the bottom, and click on "Register An Account", Fill out the info needed. Your message board name should be the name of your pilot or mobile suit or have one of the two in it. It doesn't matter, but it must be one of the two.
Probation- If you are being rude, obnoxious, etc, or you are inactive for 2 weeks, you will go on probation. I expect that if you go on vacation for 2 weeks or longer you will tell me befor, not after. Also, sending an email the day you're put on probation won't cut it. When put on probation, you loose all upgrades, get your salary suspended, and your mobile suit is up for grabs. Thats right while on probation, anyone who wants your suit can have it, so dont do something stupid!--but still have fun :)
Generic Mobile Suits- If all suits, or the one you want are taken, you may name your own generic suit. Keep the name tastefull, ok? There is a good and bad part to the generic suit. Bad: the generic suits stats start out quite a bit less then gundams. Good: whenever you recieve money for a battle or for your salary, you get 50% more, which in time will make up for the stat difference.
Upgrading- All upgrading is at my disgression. I can't/won't allow a suit to have 18 dober guns, now can I? Keep it reasonable, and you'll be fine, but don't forget to ask nice:) I highly recommend that you keep track of your own money. Quatre will be incharge of money, but if he messes up in a transaction, you may want to be able point it out. While getting retrofitted (retrofits are upgrads) you must remain in the same area. Minor retrofits will take 2 day, major retrofits take 3 days or more.
Repair- After battle, you're out one day for every 2,000 HP you lost. The cost is $1,500 per day. The first time your gundam is destroyed (weather your gundam is destroyed or not is up to the victor of the battle) we'll assume there's enough parts left to rebuild it, but you're out of combat for a week, and get half salery for a month(4 weeks). All retrofits and gundam training is kept. The 2nd time your gundam is destroyed, all retrofits and mech fine-tuning stats are lost, you're out of battle for a week, and recieve half salery for a month and a half (6 weeks). If you're destroyed during retrofit, the retrofit is aborted, and you recieve a 50% refund.
Global Movement- The RPG's world is devided into 8 levels: Earth, L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, and Mars. Each area takes 1 day to, traveling only one area at a time. There are some exceptions to this, which is explained in Special Cases. Movements are public, and you may be attacked, so check the Global Map befor moving, and check the message bored for challenges afterwords. To move, email Quatre telling him where you want to go.
Money- All gundam pilots get $7,000 a week, to be distributed on Saturday (the day may vary). You can't steal money, you may give money as a gift to someone with my permission. You get $15,000 for winning a battle, $8,000 for loosing, and $4,000 if you retreat. Generic suits recieve $10,500 per week, $22,500 for a victory, $12,000 for a loss, and $6,000 for a retreat.
Training- Pilot training- Costs $2,500 a day, required 7 days. (17,500 total). To train, you must have participated in at least 3 battles since joining or your last training session. You get 5 points to add to any one stat. It's expensive because, the only way to loose pilot training is an unsuccessful ZERO system experience.
Mech Fine Tuning- Costs $1,250 for a required 7 days ($8,750 total). To train you must have participated in at least 3 battles since joining or last training session. You get 10 points added to any one stat. Points can be lost if you're destroyed.
Stats- There are 5 different stats that affect your character and his/her performance in a battle.

Terms- There are some terms used that you may not understand. HP is hit points, basically how much dammage your suit can take, befor it is disabled. DM is dammage, which is how much dammage you deal usually, but can refer to how much you take. A modifier (mod) modifies your dice roll. Ex. you have a +1 modifier, that means when you roll your dice you add 1(dicebot can automatically do that.) There are several different kinds of modifiers, There are attack modifiers, which modify your attack roll. There are CC, MR, R, LR modifiers, where the modifier is only affective in a certain slot. Also there are HH (hand held) modifiers, which are on all hand held weapons(Ex. Beamscythe or Heat Shorters).
